Vaastu Guide (“we”, “us”, “our”) develops and operates the Vaastu Guide mobile application. This page explains what user data we collect, how we use and store it, and how you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data. - What data we may collect
Vaastu Guide is designed to respect your privacy. Depending on how you use the app, we may store the following types of information:
- Account details (optional): username and email address — only if you create an account or sign up for premium features.
- App preferences & settings: theme (light/dark), reminder times, chosen Vaastu modules.
- In-app usage data: which tools you used (compass checks, room analyses), timestamps, and basic analytics to improve the product.
- Purchase records: limited transaction metadata for purchases handled via Google Play (we do NOT store full payment card details).
- Downloadable content: saved audio or PDF files stored on your device if you choose to download content for offline use.
We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
- How we use your data
We use the data listed above for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account and process purchases (when applicable).
- To provide app features such as Vaastu Compass results, room analysis, saved preferences, and offline content.
- To send important service messages (payment receipts, critical updates) if you have an account and opted in.
- To analyze aggregate usage patterns so we can improve the app and fix bugs.
- Where your data is stored
- Preferences and downloaded content are stored locally on your device by default.
- Account information and purchase-related metadata are stored securely on our servers only when you explicitly create an account or buy premium content.
- We use industry-standard security measures to protect stored data, but no system is 100% secure.
- How to request account deletion
You can request deletion of your Vaastu Guide account and personal data in one of the following ways:
- From within the app (if available): Open the app → Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the on-screen instructions.
- By email: Send a deletion request to info@tophealers.com from the same email address associated with your Vaastu Guide account. Use the subject line: “Delete My Vaastu Guide Account”.
Please include your username and the email address used to register so we can verify the request.
- What happens after you request deletion
After we receive and verify your deletion request, we will:
- Deactivate your account so it can no longer be used to sign in.
- Delete or anonymize personal identifiers such as name, email, and profile photo from active systems, typically within 30 days.
- Remove usage logs and app preferences tied to your account from production databases.
Note: Non-identifying aggregated analytics (for example, “X users used the compass today”) may be retained for product improvement. Aggregated data cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Backup copies and residual data
- Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited time due to disaster recovery and backup procedures. Backups are typically purged or overwritten according to our retention schedule, generally within 90 days.
- If required by law (for example, tax or accounting obligations) or to resolve disputes, limited data may be retained for the minimum period necessary. Such data is protected and not used for marketing.
- Verification & security checks
To prevent fraudulent deletion requests, we will verify identity before processing:
- We may confirm the request by replying to the registered email address.
- We may ask for additional account details (for example, username or a recent transaction ID) to confirm ownership.

- Data retained for legal reasons
We may retain certain information if required to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with audits. In such cases, we will limit the retained information to the minimum necessary and protect it appropriately. - Children’s privacy
Vaastu Guide is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, please contact us so we can remove it. - How we protect your data
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for network traffic.
- Access controls and least-privilege permissions for internal systems.
- Regular security reviews and timely patching.
- Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal data (as explained above).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
